Our Story
Founded in 2008, Brightmoor Connection began as a coalition of nine churches and two organizations dedicated to serving the Brightmoor Community in Detroit. With the support of the Fisher Foundation, Gleaners of Southeast Michigan, and United Way, this nonprofit organization achieved 501(c)(3) status in 2015. Today, it thrives with the help of over 35 dedicated volunteers, working collaboratively with local churches and community groups.
Impact
Rev. Roz serves 1,700 high-need families annually, providing essential resources such as food, water, clothing, and shelter.
