Our Story
Founded in 2002, Bright Prospect launched its Scholar Support program to guide high-achieving low-income students to prestigious colleges and universities. With a remarkable 95% graduation rate among the original cohort, Bright Prospect has proven its commitment to educational equity. In 2006, the Academy of Young Scholars was introduced, fostering a college-going culture among all students. By 2012, these programs merged into a unified initiative, now serving over 2,500 students with comprehensive college readiness programming, one-on-one coaching, and ongoing mentorship from ninth grade through graduation.
