Our Story

Founded in 1996, Bridge to Home SCV began as the Santa Clarita Community Development Corporation, opening the Santa Clarita Shelter with 22 emergency beds in 1997. In 2011, the organization rebranded to Bridge to Home, expanding its mission to provide comprehensive homeless services. The Client Services Center, established in 2013, offers year-round access to housing navigation and support, utilizing a Housing First Model. Despite challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic, Bridge to Home continues to adapt and serve over 900 individuals annually, with plans for a new full-service interim shelter facility.

Impact

Bridge to Home serves over 900 individuals each year, providing essential shelter and support services. In the past year alone, the organization has served over 71,000 meals and assisted more than 1,000 households, successfully transitioning 83 families to permanent housing.
