Founded by Sally Coomer, Bridge of Promise was created to provide purpose, meaning, and friendship to adults with developmental disabilities. This organization addresses the concerns parents face about their children's quality of life after high school.
Bridge of Promise has expanded from serving seven members in a small town to over 120 members each week across the greater Seattle area, providing 38,000 annual respite hours and operating in over 20 cities.
