Our Story

The journey of The 411 House began with founder Kim White and her mentee in East Temple, where a friendship blossomed into a commitment to the community. Weekly visits to Wayman Manor apartments allowed for the building of meaningful relationships with local families and youth. In April 2019, a house was remodeled and furnished, serving as a hub for community engagement and youth activities. After years of learning and growing together, the decision was made to purchase a home in East Temple, previously owned by Myrtle Captain, to create a safe haven for neighborhood youth.

Our Impact

The 411 House fosters a sense of belonging, empowering young leaders in East Temple to dream big, discover their potential, and make a positive impact in the world. By focusing on community building and nurturing relationships, the foundation creates transformative experiences for youth.
