Our Story

Bridge Communities was founded by Mark Milligan and Bob Wahlgren, who began by renting an apartment for a family in need. This simple act of kindness blossomed into a dedicated nonprofit organization focused on helping families facing homelessness. By providing transitional housing, mentoring, and supportive services, Bridge Communities empowers families to achieve self-sufficiency.

Impact

Each year, Bridge Communities connects over 130 families to homes and hope, with 88% securing permanent housing and 94% increasing their savings after participating in the program.
