Our Story

Founded in 2020, Bridge Adaptive Sports and Recreation emerged from a collective passion to enhance adaptive sports opportunities in Cincinnati. During the COVID-19 pandemic, a group of dedicated individuals recognized the barriers faced by those with disabilities in accessing sports and physical activities. This led to the establishment of the nonprofit in April 2021, aiming to foster inclusivity and community through adaptive sports.

Impact

Bridge Adaptive Sports and Recreation empowers individuals with disabilities by providing access to adaptive sports programs. From adaptive skiing to wheelchair basketball, the organization promotes physical activity and personal growth, creating a supportive community for all participants.
