The Brewcity Bruisers, founded in 2005, has transformed the roller derby scene in Milwaukee. With over 80 women joining as rollergirls, the league quickly gained momentum, hosting its first bout at the 2006 Summerfest. As a proud member of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association, BCB has expanded its reach, offering recreational leagues and junior roller derby sessions.
BCB is dedicated to fostering positive changes in physical, social, and mental health for its members. Through training, education, and community volunteerism, the organization promotes strong athletes and healthy communities in Milwaukee and beyond.
As a volunteer-run nonprofit, Brewcity Bruisers relies on game attendance and donations to sustain its operations and community initiatives. Every contribution, no matter the size, is tax-deductible and greatly appreciated, helping to further the mission and support partner organizations.
