About Brethren Disaster Relief Auction
Since its inception in 1977, the Brethren Disaster Relief Auction has become a cherished tradition, uniting communities to support those affected by disasters. Every fourth weekend of September, volunteers gather at the Lebanon County Fairgrounds in Pennsylvania for a two-day event that raises vital funds for disaster relief efforts. This gathering, supported by over 120 Church of the Brethren congregations, is one of the largest assemblies of Brethren in the United States, second only to the Annual Conference.
Impact of Donations
The funds raised during the auction directly support the clean-up and rebuilding efforts of Brethren Disaster Ministries. From Hurricane Katrina to the earthquake in Haiti and the devastation in Puerto Rico, the organization has been active in numerous disaster-stricken areas, providing essential aid and support.
