Established in July 2017, the Brendon McLarty Memorial Foundation honors the life of Brendon McLarty, who tragically passed away from an asthma attack at just 16 years old. The foundation is dedicated to fighting asthma through education and awareness, focusing on early recognition of symptoms and effective management of the condition.
Impact of the Foundation
Since its inception, the foundation has provided over 2,000 inhalers and 20,000 disposable spacers to more than 490 school districts across Oklahoma. Additionally, the Brendon McLarty Memorial Asthma Fund has assisted 47 uninsured and low-income patients with over $2,600 worth of inhalers and nebulizers.
