Our Story

What began as a simple backyard gathering in Orange County, California, has blossomed into a nationwide movement. In 2003, 30 friends came together to enjoy a cocktail party while supporting a cause close to their hearts. Over the years, the generosity of young men and women aged 21-45 has fueled this grassroots initiative, leading to the establishment of The Breast Cancer Fundraiser as a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity in 2011.

Impacting Lives

In 2016, the WeCare Program was launched, spearheaded by breast cancer survivor Erin Monroe. This program embodies the community's commitment to supporting breast cancer patients through various initiatives, including WeBuild Days and WeGive Days. Volunteers come together to create WeCare Packages filled with essential resources, offering strength and hope to those newly diagnosed.
