The Breast Cancer Assistance Group of Monterey County (BCAG) was founded in 1997 by four courageous women who experienced breast cancer firsthand. Their mission was to create a supportive environment tailored to the unique needs of women battling this disease. This vision led to the establishment of the Breast Care Center at Community Hospital of Monterey County in 2002, along with a Patient Navigator Program and various cancer support groups.
