Break Bread
EIN: 82-1352479 · Littleton, CO
Our Story
Break Bread emerged from the compassionate hearts of neighbors in Littleton, Colorado, who recognized the pressing need for support within their community. In 2017, members of the Littleton United Methodist Church took a bold step to address food insecurity and isolation by providing free weekly community meals open to all. What began as a small gathering of 40 neighbors has blossomed into a vital resource, welcoming 80-100 individuals each week before the pandemic. During these challenging times, Break Bread adapted its services to ensure that nourishment and connection continued, offering to-go meals and deliveries. Today, the organization proudly serves an average of 400 meals each week, fostering relationships and providing essential support to those in need.
Our Impact
Break Bread’s mission is to reduce hunger and build relationships within the community through free meals and programs that provide nourishment and friendship.
