In 2008, inspired by her own struggles with food insecurity as a single mother, Gina Valadez-Bracamonte founded Bread of Life to provide free groceries to families in need. With a heart full of compassion, Gina witnessed the devastating impact of the economic downturn and decided to take action. Over the years, Bread of Life has grown exponentially, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the demand for food assistance surged.

Impact

Thanks to generous donations, Bread of Life has provided food to over 50,000 individuals, distributing nearly $4 million worth of groceries. Each month, an average of 2000 households and 7,000 people receive essential food supplies, marking a 60% increase in service compared to pre-pandemic levels.
