Our Story

The Bread Line has been a cornerstone of the Fairbanks community since 1984, evolving from a small group making sandwiches for those in need to a comprehensive anti-hunger organization. With four unique programs—Stone Soup Cafe, Stone Soup Garden, Kids Cafe, and Stone’s Throw—this nonprofit addresses food insecurity and fosters community involvement.

Impact

Each year, tens of thousands of free meals are provided through these programs, significantly alleviating food insecurity in Fairbanks.
