About the Brazilian Cultural Institute

Founded in 2001, the Brazilian Cultural Institute, formerly known as the Brazilian Arts Foundation, is dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich tapestry of Brazilian culture in the greater Houston metropolitan area. In 2006, the organization established a cultural center in the historic Houston Heights, which serves as a hub for classes, workshops, and community events. With a strategic plan initiated in 2015, the Institute has successfully expanded its offerings and outreach, ensuring that Brazilian culture thrives in the community.
