Our Story

Brave Space Alliance was established to address the critical lack of services for trans and gender-nonconforming individuals in Chicago's South and West Sides. Unlike the predominantly white North Side, where few trans-specific resources exist, this center is dedicated to providing accessible support in a culturally competent manner.

Impact

As the first Black-led, trans-led LGBTQ+ Center on the South Side, Brave Space Alliance is committed to uplifting the entire LGBTQ+ community through essential services and advocacy.
