Our Story

On March 5, 1984, a group of dedicated citizens gathered at the Creedmoor Fire Department to address the urgent need for a fire department in Brassfield Township. Recognizing the vast area that needed coverage, they formed a committee led by Mr. Larry Mitchell to establish the Brassfield Volunteer Fire Department. After filing for a charter with the State of North Carolina, the department was officially established in June 1984, with initial training sessions held in a garage.

Impact

The Brassfield Volunteer Fire Department operates entirely on volunteer support, ensuring the safety of Granville County residents through dedicated fire and first responder services.

Why Donate?
