Founded in 1945, the Brandywine Red Clay Alliance (BRC) has grown into a vital nonprofit organization with nearly 900 members dedicated to the conservation of the Brandywine and Red Clay Watersheds. What began as a small group of concerned citizens has evolved into a powerful force for environmental education and advocacy, connecting over 12,000 students to vital ecological knowledge and serving thousands of nature enthusiasts.
