Our Story

The Brain Injury Center was founded by families affected by brain injuries, inspired by the journey of Susan Stork, a survivor of a near-fatal accident. Her father, David Stork, along with other families, advocated for legislative action, leading to the establishment of the Brain Injury Support Group of Ventura County, which evolved into the Brain Injury Center.
