Our Story

Bracelets4Hope was founded in honor of George Kayser Kneip, who was born on April 14th, 2020, at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX. George faced significant health challenges from the start, being diagnosed with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) at just 32 weeks gestation. This rare condition caused severe underdevelopment of his right lung, leading to numerous complications. After relocating to Houston for specialized care, George underwent 13 surgeries and spent 8 months in the NICU before finally coming home on December 21st, 2020.
