BPE Inc. was founded to enhance the quality of education in Boston's public schools by serving as a research and development arm. Since 1984, BPE has partnered with Boston Public Schools to create and support initiatives that ensure every student has access to high-quality instruction.

Operating the Dearborn STEM Academy since 2015, BPE has achieved remarkable outcomes, including an 87% attendance rate and a 94% retention rate of 8th graders into high school.
