Our Story

Founded in 1958, the Boys & Girls Club of the Peninsula (BGCP) provides at-risk youth with a safe environment to build positive relationships and develop essential life skills. With a focus on education and mentorship, BGCP connects young people with adult role models and engaging activities that prepare them for success in life.

Impact

BGCP serves over 3,500 students four days a week, offering 830 hours of expanded learning time—equivalent to 110 extra school days. An impressive 90% of participants graduate high school with a post-secondary education plan, ensuring they are ready to seize opportunities in Silicon Valley.
