Our Story

Founded in 1990 by a dedicated group of community leaders, the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest County began as a safe haven for children at Margarita Middle School in Temecula, California. Over the years, the Club has expanded its reach, establishing multiple locations including Murrieta and Lake Elsinore, to serve the growing needs of the community. The flagship Pechanga Great Oak Clubhouse, built in 2006, stands as a testament to the commitment to providing a nurturing environment for youth.

Impact

In 2018, the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest County anticipated serving 1,500 children across its three locations. The organization plays a crucial role in the community, offering essential services such as homework help and college application assistance, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to succeed.
