Our Story

The Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket has been a cornerstone of the community since 1900, dedicated to inspiring and enabling young people, particularly those in need, to become healthy, productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Over the years, the Club has evolved, officially adopting its name in 1988 and expanding its facilities and programs to better serve its members. Significant milestones include the establishment of Camp Ramsbottom in 1966 and the renovation of the Alfred Elson, Jr. Clubhouse in 2015, enhancing resources for youth development.

Impact

Serving over 3,000 youth annually, the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket provides essential programs that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character. The Club awards more than $100,000 in scholarships each year, ensuring every child can participate in its programs. Additionally, it serves close to 35,000 hot meals during the school year and over 50,000 meals in the summer, showcasing its commitment to the well-being of its members.
