Boys & Girls Club of Bloomington

Our Story

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington has been dedicated to serving the youth in the local community since 1956. With four Club locations throughout Monroe and Owen County, the organization provides extensive camps and programs during after school hours, holiday breaks, and summer break.

Impact

Serving over 700 kids each day and more than 4,000 registered members annually, the Club generates significant community benefits. An Economic Impact Study by the University of Michigan revealed that for every $1.00 invested, $9.60 in benefits is returned to the community. The Club also supports single parents, generating approximately $4,300.00 in savings and additional income per household each year.
