Our Story
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady was founded in 1936 by local leaders to combat rising youth delinquency. Starting with just seven boys, the organization has expanded to serve over 3,300 members across multiple clubhouses, providing a safe haven for youth aged 6 to 18.
Impact
With programs focused on academic achievement, health, and character development, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady reaches more than 12,700 youth annually, making it the largest provider of services to disadvantaged youth in Schenectady County.
