Empowering Youth Through Scouting
The Black Warrior Council (BWC) is a dedicated local council of the Boy Scouts of America, serving the West Alabama area since the 1920s. With a mission to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices, BWC has positively impacted over one million youth, instilling values through the Scout Oath and Law. Scouting programs focus on character development, personal fitness, environmental stewardship, and leadership skills, ensuring that participants are not only prepared for life but also equipped to become active citizens in their communities.
