Our Story

The Bowling Green International Festival, established in 1986, began as the Ethnic Folk Festival and has evolved into a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity. Sponsored by the Bowling Green Human Rights Commission and the Bowling Green/Warren County NAACP, this festival has grown to attract over 15,000 attendees, showcasing a rich tapestry of performances and cultural displays.

Impact

Recognized as one of Kentucky Tourism’s 'Top Ten' events in 2003 and 2007, the festival significantly enhances community engagement and promotes cultural diversity.
