Our Story

Founded in 1999, the Boston Taekwondo Project, also known as CW Taekwondo at Boston, emerged from a group of passionate martial artists longing for the supportive environment of the Cornell Sport Taekwondo Club. With roots tracing back to Ithaca, NY, the organization was established to create a welcoming space for practitioners of all levels in Boston. The founding members, including Dan Chuang, Kristian Cibulskis, and others, aimed to replicate the camaraderie and dedication they experienced in their training.

Our Impact

At CW Taekwondo, the focus is on building strong, flexible, and healthy bodies while fostering a sense of community. Classes are available for both youth and adults, emphasizing Olympic-style sparring, self-defense, and fitness in a fun and supportive atmosphere.
