Transforming Communities Through Service
The Boston Project Ministries (TBPM) began in 1995 with a vision from Gordon College students to mobilize youth in Christian service across Boston. In 1996, founders Paul and Glenna Malkemes established their home in the Talbot-Norfolk Triangle neighborhood of Dorchester, offering after-school tutoring and community services. Over the years, TBPM has expanded its mission to focus on local leadership development and community engagement, celebrating successes such as transforming vacant lots into parks and forming a resident-led neighborhood association.
Impacting Lives and Building Community
TBPM has successfully transformed vacant lots into vibrant community spaces, planted over 120 trees, and developed programs that empower local youth and families. Their initiatives foster community engagement and leadership, contributing to a stronger, more connected neighborhood.
