Boston HERC

Our Story

The Boston Higher Education Resource Center (HERC) is dedicated to equipping first-generation youth of color with the tools they need to access and thrive in higher education. By connecting these students with experienced coaches, HERC helps them navigate the college admissions process and prepares them for sustainable careers.

Impact

Currently, Boston HERC is scaling its efforts to serve 1,200 first-generation youth across 15 non-exam Boston public high schools, enhancing their support from high school through college and into their careers.
