Our Story

Since 1924, the Boone County Historical Society has dedicated itself to preserving the rich history of Boone County for future generations. Through the Boone County History & Culture Center, which includes the Walters History Galleries and the Montminy Art Gallery, the Society collects, preserves, and exhibits historic artifacts, records, and artwork that tell the story of the people of Boone County.
