Our Story

The Body Empowerment Project was founded in 2021 by Amanda and Christina, who met at the University of Pennsylvania. Recognizing the urgent need for preventive interventions against eating disorders, they collaborated with community stakeholders to create impactful programs aimed at empowering youth, especially in underserved populations.

Our Impact

By focusing on improving body image and self-esteem, the Body Empowerment Project has successfully reached over 1,000 students and trained 600 youth-serving professionals.
