Founded in 1972 by Richard and Virginia Bodine, the Bodine School honors the memory of their son, Rick, who faced challenges due to learning disabilities. After experiencing a tragic loss, the Bodine family dedicated themselves to creating a nurturing educational environment for children with dyslexia and other reading-related learning differences. Today, Bodine School stands as the only institution in the Mid-South and Tennessee focused solely on this mission, empowering countless students to read and succeed.
