Our Story
Boat People SOS Inc (BPSOS) is a refugee-run organization dedicated to defending persecuted communities and helping the disenfranchised achieve liberty and dignity. Since the 1980s, BPSOS has operated missions to protect Vietnamese boat people, rescuing them from perilous conditions and advocating for their rights in first-asylum countries.
Our Impact
Through advocacy and legal assistance, BPSOS has successfully resettled Vietnamese refugees in Thailand to various countries. Significant milestones include exposing labor trafficking syndicates in Vietnam, leading to a downgrade in the country’s ranking by the U.S. State Department.
