Our Story
In the late 1990s, Kim Pace's journey began at Berry College, where her involvement with Winshape Camps ignited a passion for the Lord and outdoor adventure. In 2001, alongside fellow team member Pete Morton, Kim embraced an opportunity to pilot a leadership and team-building program in Nairobi, Kenya. This initiative blossomed into Brackenhurst Ministries, which later evolved into BlueSky Global Ministries.
BlueSky was founded on the vision of creating unique platforms to engage the multinational community in Kenya, sharing the love of Jesus through adventure. Over the years, the ministry expanded to include summer adventure camps and year-round student programs, impacting thousands of lives.
In 2011, the team opened East Africa's only major indoor climbing gym, a space that has drawn individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering connections and spiritual growth. Tragically, Kim Pace passed away in a paragliding accident in January 2018, but her legacy lives on through the ongoing work of BlueSky Global Ministries.
