South Bay Blue Star Moms

Our Story

In the summer of 2004, a group of dedicated mothers came together to form the South Bay Blue Star Moms, driven by a shared need for a local military support group. With each member having a child serving in the Armed Forces, the first general meeting attracted around 20 military moms and dads, marking the beginning of a compassionate community. By the fall, the group received its charter as California Chapter #4 under Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc., a historic organization formed during WWII and officially chartered by Congress.

Our Impact

Throughout the year, care packages are lovingly created and sent to military troops, reminding them that they are heroes and that their service is deeply appreciated.
