Our Story
Blue Ridge Honor Flight, originally founded as HonorAir in 2005, was born from a heartfelt mission to honor the sacrifices of WWII, Korean, and Vietnam veterans. Inspired by the vision of Earl Morse, who began flying veterans to their memorials, the organization has grown under the Honor Flight Network, planning 2-3 flights annually from Asheville, North Carolina.
Impact
Since its inception, Blue Ridge Honor Flight has flown over 200,000 veterans to Washington, D.C., providing them with a once-in-a-lifetime experience and the recognition they deserve.
