Our Story

The Blue Mountain Land Trust was established in 1999 as a volunteer organization dedicated to the conservation of the lands and waters of the Blue Mountain region. Over the years, it has evolved into a nonprofit organization focused on protecting and restoring farms, ranches, rivers, and wildlife habitats while connecting communities to nature and improving access to outdoor recreation.

Impact

Since its inception, BMLT has protected nearly 25,000 acres of farms, ranches, and natural habitats in the Blue Mountain region, engaging over 4,000 community members in conservation, education, and recreation initiatives.
