Our Story

Founded in 2016 by Megan O’Grady, Blue Line Bears was born from a heartfelt response to the tragic loss of five police officers in Dallas, TX. As the daughter of a police officer, Megan recognized the profound grief experienced by children who lose a parent in the line of duty. The organization creates personalized, handmade keepsakes that serve as a tangible reminder of their loved ones, showing these children that they are not alone.

Our Impact

To date, Blue Line Bears has delivered over 1500 custom hand-sewn bears to children of fallen law enforcement officers across the United States, Europe, and even Afghanistan. Each bear helps keep the memories of their loved ones alive.
