About Blossoms of Hope

Founded in 2003, Blossoms of Hope originated from a vision to beautify Howard County with Kwanzan cherry trees, inspired by the stunning Tidal Basin in Washington D.C. This initiative not only aimed to plant 1,000 trees but also to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention and support those affected by cancer. In 2014, Blossoms of Hope became a dedicated 501(c)(3) organization, continuing its mission to enhance the quality of life through impactful beautification projects and community support.

Impact

To date, Blossoms of Hope has successfully planted over 2,900 trees and contributed more than $750,000 to local community initiatives, addressing mental health issues and providing essential support to families in need.
