BLOOM365, formerly known as the Purple Ribbon Council to Cut Out Domestic Abuse, began as a grassroots movement in August 2006. The initiative aimed to turn every city in the U.S. PURPLE during Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October. Today, BLOOM365 focuses on sustainable, youth-driven education, advocacy, and activism in schools across Arizona and the U.S.
With a mission to educate young people on healthy relationships, BLOOM365 has reached thousands of youth, significantly increasing awareness of teen dating violence. Over 75% of participants in their programs report improved knowledge of abuse signs and coping strategies, fostering a culture of safety and respect.
