Our Story

BlaqOut is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to enhancing healthcare access and creating a safe space for Kansas City's Black LGBTQ+ community. By fostering a sense of community, BlaqOut enables individuals to experience healing and feel celebrated, nurtured, seen, and heard.

Impact

Serving over 1,300 individuals annually, BlaqOut boasts a remarkable 90% PrEP adherence rate, actively combating the HIV/AIDS epidemic and improving health outcomes for Black queer and trans individuals in the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area.
