Our Story

Founded in 2002, Blackstone Academy Charter School was created to support urban students in completing high school and pursuing higher education. Emerging from the SPIRIT Education Program, the school addresses the critical need for alternative secondary education in Pawtucket and Central Falls, where dropout rates are high and college attendance is low. With a growth from 165 to approximately 360 students, Blackstone Academy is dedicated to fostering academic success and community contribution.
