Our Story
Founded in 2015, BlackRoots Alliance emerged from the urgent need for a long-term alliance dedicated to Black liberation. With a focus on power building and public policy engagement, the organization formalized its mission in 2019 to support the safety and liberation of all Black people. By promoting Black leadership and fostering community transformation, BlackRoots Alliance is committed to healing and empowering Black communities.
