About Black Hills Christian Academy

Founded in 1992, Black Hills Christian Academy (BHCA) has grown from a humble beginning of just 12 students and 2 teachers to a thriving educational institution serving nearly 170 students. Initially established as Belle Fourche Christian School, BHCA has evolved through various phases, including a significant merger with Spearfish Classical Christian School in 2018. This merger has allowed BHCA to enhance its educational offerings and continue its mission of cultivating character and academic potential in every student.
