Our Story
The Black Hills Center for American Indian Health is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of American Indian tribes and communities. Founded in 1998 by Dr. Jeffrey A. Henderson, this organization has made significant strides in health research and community service.

With over $28 million secured in health research grants, the Center has created jobs for more than 40 tribal members and invested over $5 million into reservation communities.
