In December 2021, Kimberly and Virginia Thornton envisioned a space where Black girls could thrive in tennis. Officially established as a 501(c)(3) in March 2022, the Black Girls Tennis Club held its first clinic in April 2022, fostering empowerment and community.
The Black Girls Tennis Club is dedicated to transforming communities by promoting health and wellness among Black women and girls through tennis.
