Our Story

Founded in 1981, the Black Child Development Institute - Atlanta is dedicated to improving the lives of Black children and families in Georgia through education and advocacy. By partnering with child-serving agencies, BCDI-Atlanta implements culturally relevant programs that address the unique strengths and needs of these communities.

Impact

During the Atlanta Choose Healthy Life project, BCDI-Atlanta administered over 10,000 COVID-19 vaccinations and tests, reaching more than 1.7 million people through education and outreach efforts.
